Days like Tuesday are why being associated with the Travelers Championship can be so rewarding. Tournament officials announced the 2008 version of Connecticut's largest sporting event raised $769,279.05 (no audit needed there!!) for charity. Not to mention the millions it generated in economic development for the region.
