EDMONTON - St. Albert's Shane O'Neill has won the Alberta Junior Order of Merit for 2008. O'Neill won this summer's Edmonton Junior by 10 shots and the RCGA's Future Links Western Championship by four shots. O'Neill, who plays out of the Sturgeon Valley G&CC, accumulated 785 points to outdistance Calgary's Jack Wesche, runner-up in this past summer's Canadian Junior Boys Championship held at the Edmonton Petroleum G&CC.
